Basically as the title says really!

My exhaust currently needs replacing, and I was wondering what exhaust system provides the best performance for a 998cc engine.

I heard that the best was a twin box side exit LCB maniflow exhaust but then I heard a 3 to 1 manifold was better than and LBC?

Also if I was to get the stage 1 kit needle and air-filter to go with the exhaust does anyone know how to properly tune the engine or someone who would be able to do it for me?

Many thanks

I've just bought a Maniflow system for my 1275, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Give them a call for chat about what you're looking at, and any questions, and I'm sure they'll help you make the best choices for your engine and driving style.

Rolling road set-up is recommended afterwards to get the best from the new system, but the car can still be tuned 'by ear' (or by eye with a timing light!) by an experienced mechanic.
