you can rent out a blaster or even buy one there relatively inexpensive. stripping a car professionally can be expensive

I had my shell blasted, not sure what media was used. the guy said he used a lighter grade of media than other cars he has done previously. it was light straw/clearish in colour.
The guy picked up the shell and delivered it to back to me, blasted 4 wheels and a front subframe for a more than reasonable price I was recommended to have the shell primered almost straight away, but for such a price, I have left it in bare metal, in my garage. this has meant I have been able to weld clean metal without weld though primer.
Of course I have a bit of scale to the shell after nearly 2 years. After all the work has been carried out, I plan on getting the shell re-blasted to get rid of the odd bits of scale that have appeard. This should only take a light dusting with the blaster and I plan on getting it then delivered to the paint shop.

No, I used to work near M&J but had this done before that (plus they moved)
It was a guy called Simon. http://www.yell.com/...cester-2573951/
