For Sale is a brand new Carbon Fibre 2 piece flip front and fittings.   

 

Purchased from the Arc Angels.

 

Spec: Carbon Fibre Option 1, 2 piece front end including bonnet in Carbon Fibre option 1 and pre-bonded seamed a panels in Carbon Fibre Option 1. 

 

Mk 3 onwards. 

 

The Arc angels Carbon Fibre Option 1 shpeel:

 

"The first option we provide uses genuine 2×2 twill weave carbon fibre with CSM (chopped strand mat, fibreglass).  This is popular as it is the least expensive carbon option but still stronger than pure fibreglass due to the unmatchable characteristics of the carbon fibre. We also offer this option with the carbon weave showing."

 

All parts are brand new and very well made. Bonnet is still wrapped up. The only parts that have been used are the brace bars as I fitted them once. I also offered the front end up so there may be some slight scuffs. I have trimmed a bit of the excess material off at the scuttle edge but there is still at least 10mm of excess to be removed (pictured).

I can't remember what the Carbon Fibre bonnet prop and hinge mounting brackets cost. 

 

The black marks at the top of the wings are just tape glue with some dust stuck to it. 

 

Reason for sale is that I am a perfectionist with a lack of patience and expertise in the composite material field so I accepted that I would never get it to fit how I wanted. In the end I had a change of heart and went for a full metal front. So this is no longer required and I need to free up some space.

I think it is sold... but I'll be sure when the money is in my hand! If It doesn't go, I'll give you's a shout!

 

The prices that I have put up there are the prices I paid, not what I expect. I just did it so that people have a guideline on what is and isn't a sensible offer.
