During the test drive of my new discs and pads, all was going well until,

Big Bang, pulled over to find, NSF indicator cable and one that goes into the bottom of the radiator (?) wrapped around the alternator and fan belt !

Got it home, slowly and replaced wiring but found 4 blades missing from the fan !!
All 4 in the same portion of the fan.

Is this safe to drive to, mini shop to get new fan ?

Or have I to keep it off the road till it's repaired ?

(And what is the wire I replaced on bottom of rad for )

Thanks

Fan will be out of balance with reduced air flow, if its a mile down the road from cold then yes, but I'd not be going any great distance or caught in traffic
