Well have got the mini up on axle stands and removed the wheels, drained the oil and taken the bumpers, bootlid and bonnet off, looks pretty crusty so far , what do people think ?

Had to ask my girlfriend why it was called tiny.
Now feel ashamed that I didn't pay more attention in French classes at school.
Looks like a good project.

Bit more progress over the last few days , started labelling the wiring , the loom is in a right mess .
Got the 4 bolts out from the boot floor to the rear subframe and 1 out from the subframe to the heelboard, but the other, 3 are just spinning im assuming the nuts are just spinning on the heelboard, how do i get to them ?

Took all the soundproofing off the roof , that stuff weighs a tonne!

Any ideas as to how I get the bolts out of the sub frame in to the headboard?
Thanks

spanner? :D

constant application of/soaking in penetrene or some other penetrant that can free up the corrosion. not wd40.

when you get around to reassembly, put some copper-eze or similar on the bolt threads so they are easy to undo in 15 years time :)
