Now that I am starting on project 1100 I am starting to look for reputable part supliers.

Engine components only.

Living in Australia the choice is limited and somewhat expensive on certain parts. Note: I do understand the whole exchange rate, freight, associated costs of running a business. But some
items are marked up x6.

Knowing this, and the fact that I cant easly just ring up or take the wrong part back I am after suppliers with known service & quality parts with the knowledge of what parts suit what motors.

Looking so far at rocker gear, carbs, timing gear, inlet manifolds etc.

Pistons, rings, gaskets & bearings are easly obtained as we have local manufacturers for them.

I would recommend the following suppliers,

Mini Spares,
Mini Speed
Somerford
Bull motif
Huddersfield Minis
Wood and Pickett

I have used all of the above from time to time and had no problems with them, a quick google will find them all.
