Good day helpful beardy men,
I come to you with many problems. Well one problem really. So I'm travelling the country in my mini. I'm currently on my way to Lands end. Anyhow all that is irrelevant really. The Rover Mpi mini (97) is unhappy.
She keeps squeaking from the front left. We've had a wheel bearing done yesterday. Initially we presumed this was the problem. Now however we are concerned that it was just caused by our current problem. We are getting heavy wheel wobble, a slight pull to the left and a lot of vibration and bounce. All the points are greased and all seems ok. Is it perhaps a shock absorber?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks in advance

As above but are the wheels banded, possible to have lost a weight from that wheel.

Shock absorbers on the mini design won't have the effect you describe.
Jack up front (chock at rear and be careful!) and try spinning the wheel by hand, also check inner point joint is intact and turning without grinding. Grasp wheel at top and bottom and check for movement. Inspect suspension trumpet and cone.
Change wheel on affected side for spare and compare results.

Thanks for all the info. Eventually I narrowed it down to the discs being warped. Well the left disc but I did both fronts. I thought you would feel something like that in the brake pedal but I couldn't :-S All gravy now, turns out the squeak is a pulley bearing
Thanks for the help
