My Neon will be up for sale once my '77 is finished and on the road. Possibly earlier if a decent swap is offered.

Question is, how much is it worth?

First of all, as it is and then secondly with most of the bodywork etc done.

It's currently done 71,000 miles but that will be increasing as it is used regularly. It has the original 998, but with a fletcher exhaust, alloy inlet and a HIF38 carb. Head gasket changed recently.

Classic bucket seats, MPI moulded one piece carpet in red.

Mistral Minilights with a steel spare.

Needs: passenger wing (replacement included), drivers A panel (replacement included), repairs to front panel (car was reversed into but not too much damage), one round nose bumper to replace the clubman one on the front, rear subframe, attention needed to the sills and then it would benefit from a good going over with some paint. The silver and grey patches are previous rust repairs.

The car runs and drives brilliantly.

Would you not get more money by replacing the seats, exhaust, front indicators ect for standard items?

Maybe so, but I'm not looking to change them as that involves spending more time finding the correct bits and selling off the current non standard bits.

The only things that I will change is the issues with the body work. The rest is down to someone else.

All non standard bits are bolt on bolt off. Shouldn't affect the value too much.

This is a great first car for somebody. I would find a peashooter to fit and sell the fletcher seperately, it will help with insurance for a new driver. It's a tidy car, as it is (pending MOT+ tax, this helps a lot) it has to be £1000 worth of Mini, with a reasonable MOT and tax probably £1200 with the panels included.

And what do you recon if I changed the wing a panel etc and put a new MOT on it?

It currently has about 5 months MOT and tax
