Hello all i'm putting engine back into the mini we're getting it to turn over but the immobilizer isn't working so it won't work, where is the immobilizer located? what does it look like? I can't do anything until that works

Just a note to say the problem was resolved, of all things it was an earth. fired up first time now she's a week away from going back on the road after 10 months restoring! pictures and videos to follow in the coming weeks
