Can anyone recommend somewhere to get bodywork sorted near Banbury?

I need a new front panel, sills, doors and full respray. Any ideas how much it might cost?

Thanks,

Rich

My garage! If you have a few months spare that is!

Honestly I've not even looked at local shops for fear of having to reproduce tenners faster than the royal mint, but I'll ask around a few places.

Jeff Reynolds has a Mini repair workshop out Farthinghoe way as you head out towards Brackley. not used him myself, and i have heard although the work is quite good, he is a bit expensive, might be worth a call ??

also southam mini and metro centre (dont know if this is their current name), not sure if they do body work or are just mechanical,

When i lived near Banbury (6 months ago) I took my golf to Greg Howel who's on the industrial estate in southam. I have sinced moved to wales and had problems with local body shops. I drove my golf 3 hours back to Greg for him to do the work required and then drove 3 hours back! That's how good he is. I can 100% recommend him, nice block and very particular, with resonable prices. Let me know if you want his number.

Be careful of Jeff he does great work I was friends with him for 3 years until he ripped me off. He has my 1978 mini van and did nothing. I trusted him so I sent a rebuilt 1275 engine to his shop and now I have niether. I'm back in the USA now and still have no Mini van

would your van be blue by any chance? he is currently trying to sell one for £5k! ive been there a few times to buy parts, i ordered a heritage front panel, and heritage wing, i got the wing, but a hadrian front panel with a herittage sticker opver the top of the hadrian one!!! and i paid hertiage prices! i asked about a full respray in a single colour, and he came back to me with a quote for nearly £3k! and my mini had to be rust free and straight, or it would cost more!!! but the work he does seems like good quality, just over priced!
