I appear to have a considerable leak from behind the pulley that the water pump and fan come off. I have recently changed the fan on this pulley and removed the pulley itself. Any chance there is a gasket/o ring or anything that could be causing this leak in between the pulley and the pump? Will check for myself obviously tomorrow but wanted to know if it was a common issue or I missed something in reassembly.

The leak is clearly from behind the pulley and not around the pump

Any thoughts much appreciated!

Cheers

Toby

There is a witness hole on the pump body behind the pulley, it's there to warn you when the pump's internal seal has failed. If coolant is leaking from this, or from the end of the shaft behind the pulley, you need a new pump.
