At just over 27,000 miles, my Mini has driven to Australia, back to the UK and back to Oz again (across the sea obviously).

My Golf is currently halfway to the moon ...

At 109,000 miles that's just over 4 x around the circumfrence of the globe, or almost half way to the moon!! (....And at appx 30 mpg, I make that a journey that would cost almost £5k in petrol at today's pump prices!)

3 1/2 times around the planet in my Honda Pilot.

In my Mini....in nearly 3 years...at least across town.  Twice!

/hoping to resolve this soon!

Lol! £5k for halfway to the moon ain't bad - you should have a word with NASA / Richard Branson, I reckon they will be interested how you get such good MPg :-p

The mileage history of my Mk1 unknown for certain, but I know it's done at least 100,000 miles (plus 10,000km since I bought it). And that's a bloody long way, considering it's still got the original engine and gearbox! O_O Doesn't quite compare to our Mk1 MGB though, that thing has been round the clock twice so over 200,000 miles since 1966, again still retaining its original engine. Nearly made it to the moon!

Also in the +200,000 mile club but definitely not on the original engine, or the second one......or the third.....  Did I mention the gearboxes as well???

Mine has just ticked over to 14,000 in the last year. An average of less than 500 a year.
