At 109,000 miles that's just over 4 x around the circumfrence of the globe, or almost half way to the moon!! (....And at appx 30 mpg, I make that a journey that would cost almost £5k in petrol at today's pump prices!)

My mini reads 77k just about 3 times around the world.

The mileage history of my Mk1 unknown for certain, but I know it's done at least 100,000 miles (plus 10,000km since I bought it). And that's a bloody long way, considering it's still got the original engine and gearbox! Doesn't quite compare to our Mk1 MGB though, that thing has been round the clock twice so over 200,000 miles since 1966, again still retaining its original engine. Nearly made it to the moon!

Also in the +200,000 mile club but definitely not on the original engine, or the second one......or the third..... Did I mention the gearboxes as well???
