I'm ready to put my engine back together and I'm wondering which instant gasket sealant to use. I have red, blue and an orange loctite one in the garage.
Any good. Are they all the same?
Cheers.

Ok on RTV type for around the rubber seal at the timing end to gearbox, but general gaskets a wipe of Hylomar

Blue Hermiatite is similar I believe to Hylomar so yes but I dont use RTV sealant on the others in case some overspill get inside and gets in the strainer/oil gallery.
