I would add at least two extra lengths of 30 amp cable from the alternator connector to the starter solenoid main battery terminal. Unless you massively increase the electrical load of the car's systems by adding additional lamps, fans or powerful stereo equipment the main wiring system will be unaffected by the new alternator. The vast majority of it's available output will be drawn by charging the battery. Remember that a 90 amp alternator won't be providing 90 amps all the time, it merely can provide that much if needed so if the electrics remain near standard there won't be much more draw. Your battery will charge really fast though.
This will leave lots of capacity for additional lamps and such and if you do fit anything like this then you should wire it directly from the solenoid using appropriate relays and fuses.

honestly, I've no idea what other cars alternators fit. The best thing I can tell you is to have a good look at yours, jot down some measurements and go look at it.

All I know is that they are A127s by Magneti Marelli and that there are at least 2 different configurations. One with the lower leg on the "right" side, and one on the "wrong" side. There are probably more too.....

i have a 90 amp alternator off of a range rover i think, the lugs on this one were in the wrong place so i undid the three bolts on the back and rotated the housing 120 degrees untill they were where i wanted them.
the reason i put a 90 on was that at the shows i used to leave my stereo running and it use a fair chunk of battery so i could just start it up for a coupple of mins every now and again and keep the battery up, with the standard thing i used to have it would never charge up anywhere near as quick.
