Trimming down the screws will give most improvement.

one thing to remember when cutting down screws is loctite them
esp the split screws (can't remember if they were on the mini SU - think they were)
do they still smooth the bridge as well ?
lost my bible - got to get a new one (

Doing anything to the bridge (raised bit around the jet) is asking for trouble if you don't have the means to sort the fuelling out afterwards. The most I'd do is put a light radius on the little bit of piston that remains in the venturi at full lift.

For comparison, heres my old HS4 - did all the Vizard mods but maybe went a bit too far with the piston radius-ing (it was my first time ) and in these pictures, the screws for the butterfly arnt fully reduced - they were before fitting. Noticable power increases from these mods - I now have twin HS2's and intend to do the same mods to them in the near future.
