Hi all,

My 998cc Mini just died on the work today but started again after 5 mins. Then died again.

I've just gone and collected it and it started straight away. I managed to drive it back to my work place, but it broke down again another 2 times before I got back here.

When it dies it doesnt fire or anything, but it turns over fine.

Any ideas anyone? Coil overheating? Petrol pump playing up?

You will have to check for a spark at the plugs to see if its electrical or fuel shortage, a dead cut usually points towards ignition, what system/car do you have?
