I've got the mini running again but it sounds like it's running off three cylinders, I've checked the spark from every spark plug and I've been told It could be a problem with the dizzy cap so I need to know which one out of a Lucas or a decellier to buy for a 1987 austin mini can anyone help?

Ducellier was fitted to Metros and a few 998minis, if the cap is red then its a Ducellier or some have now been fitted with aftermarket black ones, so if your rotor arm looks like the one in Pic 1 its a Ducellier or Pic 2 is a Lucas type.

I suspect it will be picture 2
