Would like secondary opinion on the value of this engine please :)

- Standard 1275 taken from a Mayfair (allegedly)
- Entire engine and subframe dropped and rolled aside.
- Removed 2 years ago and dry stored/covered in garage.

- Only removed so that car could be downgraded to a 998 to lower her sons insurance.
- It has done 70k with receipt to prove purchase.
- Few bits pinched from it for the 998 (no starter, alternator, dizzy, clutch cover).

- May have a few bits laying around to add (like the clutch cover)

- Will come attached to the subframe shown
- Front discs, driveshafts, steering rack, rad all included.
- Can effectively be bolted on and the missing bits added for a quick running test.

I've put an offer in, but making sure I haven't been silly. What would be a good price?

Any advice most appreciated!

That does help, thankyou!

I made an offer of £300 given that it comes with the subframe, arms, brakes, driveshafts etc too which if the engine (at worse) was £200 would be another £100 on top.

Good buy I think, even if it needs a rebuild.
