hi, anyone know what replacement points & condenser i can use for an aldon 100AY? (no vac advance)

Same fitment as the 45D as far as I know. I have the Aldon Ignitor in mine

 thought about it but i have a ballast ignition wire so i would have to replace it?

No you could keep the ballasted ignition and run a new12v switched feed to the igniter red wire which would connect direct and the red is not on the coil + like a 12v system.

 

I would convert to a 12v system and get rid of the ballasted wire which causes lots of wiring loom damage when it burns out. Done lots its a major job, people think it wont happen to me ?

When our 998 was swapped, we disconnected the resistor(Pink /white on Brads car) at both ends, then used crimp spade connectors to use the P/W, W connection for the new trigger wire, now we always have the old system available incase of problems
