My car pulls to the left when I brake and wondered what are the general causes of this?

I know my tie bars are slightly bent, which I plan to replace in the next few weeks. No idea what they do or if they would affect braking though!

My brake pads look ok.

The bent tie bars wont help, most likely your tracking is out, or you have a sticky caliper piston

I would say that you have imbalanced brakes.........

Which could be a sticky piston, or the pad is down to the metal

Hi,

I changed my brake discs and pads only a few months ago, and theyve warped again (the juddering's back when I brake), and i also have a pull to the left when I brake. I've come to the conclusion that is must be a sticky piston.

Can I repair this or do I need a new caliper?

Cheers (Sorry to hijack)

its worth checking your tyre pressures too. just had two new front tyres fitted and the tracking done at the same time. the next day it felt like it was pulling to the left a bit. I naturally assumed the tracking was still slightly out until the day after when I came to it and the front n/s tyre was totally flat. still haven't taken it back in either!
