Since my Mini is'nt going to get any faster :( should Install a sub?

If I should then what type should get and where the hell would I put it?

Also would I need a amp to power it?

Cheers

Well its upto you whether or not to get a sub, if you do decide you want a sub, then the easiest way is to get something like these,

http://caraudiosecur...es---boxes.html

They have amps built in so its just a matter of getting a wiring kit and hooking it up, and away you go, some of them are also nice and small but pack a good amount of bass,

on the other hand you could always go for a package deal, theres plenty of them, like these for example,

http://caraudiosecur...b-packages.html

these are just an example, from one website I found, buy a max power mag and have a look at the deals in the back of the mag, some super deals on the go.

in my opinion i say you should get a sub, whether you are going to rip out your back seats or just place it in the boot, theres plenty of options out there.

Beliave me, Mutant, are not that good!!
They are made (I think) by the same company as SPLx!!

But this is a try out type setup, so Mutant would be fine, to see if u like it or not!!

If your going to MITP, Rich, Gimmie a Hallo, and you can listen to my setup! (Loads of threads in this forum about my setup;))

The JBL bass tube in one of the links above is reasonably good i had one as a temporary measure when i had my install stolen and i ended up keeping it for 10 months because i liked it! it is 2 10" with one passive. You would have to measure it up for the mini tho as it might be a little large to fit it ya boot.

i work at halfords and trust me mutant subs are not good, unless its a mutant X subs. so i suggest a fli sub or something similar and you will definately need an amp to power it.

SPLx stuff is awful IMO. Ok, it's damn cheap...but it's miles from even average! I'd much rather have JBL or Magnat for a few quid more
