She used Yukon Grey, Its in her original build thread.

I too need Nimbus trim for my 25.

Should of read this first LOL

We try to get a really dry finish on it too so that they are not that shiney...

Thanks both. I'd heard of Hurricane Grey being possible as a match but have never seen it - it looks like Yukon Grey works well.  I will experiment...

And this is a lovely Sky.  I think I've only ever seen a Sky once - even in the early 90s they seemed to be rare.

I saw her too. She looks excellent. My dad couldn't believe it when i told him you restored it outside on a muddy farm!

Certainly worth the money and a very great mini for the new owner.

Yes Ben. The car now lives in Kent. The family who now own it absolute love the car and plan to keep her in tip top condition. I won't say exactly where it is as I don't have the owners permission.

Hello

Just check back on this to send the Link to the new owners so they can see the rebuild pics

Although Simon may of already shown them - I can't believe the Sky went to its new home over 4 months ago - I do miss him (or her as she now is)

As Simon said the new owners are a lovely family and I'm sooooo very happy she has gone to a loving home where she will be looked after as well as used :) and they have a garage for her to live in which is something I couldn't do. None of my friends really understand when I say it like this - Its like I'm talking about a family pet!! But the Sky really is and both me and my dad have put a huge amount of love and effort into her over the 7ish years we had her.

Its nice that quite a few of you guys seen her at IMM, have to say she drove up there perfectly without missing a beat as always - It was a bit of stuggle to get everything back from IMM in one mini tho - that was 2 tents loads of camping gear and 3 people - luckily the guys on our club helped us out amazingly!!

Fingers crossed I will cross paths again with the Sky at shows etc, but I'm just so glad she has gone somewhere where she will be truly loved :)

It's been a while since an update. Here is the Sky next to my van at Minis by the Sea in Worthing West Sussex, September 2015.

Lovely looking mini, I love the fact you have kept the original steel wheels and wheel trims. It looks stunning
