Hi everyone.
To day I changed my temperature sensor on the 1993 mini spi.
I managed to change it from under the car but when taking the wire off the old sensor there seemed to be another wire next to it . Is it used for anything if so where does it go ??

I treaded the wire up to the top for a photo .

Probably the manifold heater connection. What colour is the cable inside the sheath?

Photo below, the Temperature Pressure Compensator (TPC) is in the centre section of the inlet manifold underneath and heats up to assist efficient fuelling, mine, as in the picture has a single brown or brown and white wire (if memory serves) with a female connector on, this attaches as in the picture to a single male spade on the bottom of the TPC. Your connector looks different but can't think of any other connection down there in that area.
