Me, well sort of as I'm one of the organisers so once the convoy has left MINI Plant Oxford and is on the scenic route, I'll take the A34 & M40 to Gaydon, to get there in front of the convoy ready to park everyone up.  Last year was the first year for this convoy to this show, and it went very well.  The Cowley Convoy parks at the front of the show and those on the convoy pay advance prices, only you get to pay them on the day.  The convoy itself is free to join.

Here's the website for the show - http://www.bmcandleylandshow.co.uk/ and you can enter the convoy here - http://cowleyconvoy....voy/4564571391.  This is the link for the Facebook group - https://www.facebook...28401660618757/

There is no cut off date to enter the convoy, and you can just turn up on the day, but it does help us to know in advance if you are planning to join us.

We are leaving MINI Plant Oxford at 9.30am, but ask those joining us to be with us by 9.15am at the latest. We will be there from 8.30am and the Visitor Centre with the Centenary Exhibition will be open.

The BMC & Leyland Show and Cowley Convoy welcomes all BMC, BL, ARG, RG, MG Rover vehicles and current production from both Cowley and Longbridge, so that's MINI, MG3 & MG6 too.

From the Mini perspective, the 1959 Register (http://1959miniregister.com/), the Mini Traveller and Countryman Register (http://www.minitrave...anregister.org/) and the Cooper Sport 500 Register (http://www.cooperspo...register.co.uk/) will be there.  John Sheppard (worked with Issigonis on the Mini design) will be on the 1959 Register Stand.  Please go and say hello to him, he loves to meet Mini fans.  The electric Mini will be on the Mini Traveller and Countryman Register's stand (http://www.theminifo...ini-countryman/) and I think the plans are to have the last classic Mini off the line parked with the other 500s.

Lots of other BMC & Leyland type stuff, including the last Montego which was signed by the Cowley workforce.
