2014 Mucky Duck Weekend
19th September - 21st September 2014
Join us for a end of summer season weekend event, located in the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. This event isnt your usual mini show and those who have attended before will tell you, this is a great weekend of driving your mini around some excellent roads, social atmosphere, live evening entertainment and more. Finish your summer show season with our weekend camping event......come drive the routes or just relax with fellow mini owners.

Cost:
Entry fee: £10 per mini and its occupants.
Camping: £12.50 per night, charged by the amount of nights you choose when booking.
Additional cars*: £3 per weekend
* Note: Additional cars for disability are exempt from the charge
Whats On:
Thursday 18th September - Event setup, Early bird arrivals, Camping
Friday 19th September - Arrivals, Event opening, Camping
Saturday 20th September - Daytime: TBC, Evening: Raffle, Live Band/Music, Prize Winners, Camping
Sunday 21st September - Fantastic run across the north yorkshire moors, Event closure, Camping
Monday 22nd September - Last of campers leave site.
Event Date:
The official event starts Friday with cars arriving at all times through the day and evening. We offer the option for an additional night camping for those who wish to arrive on the Thursday, ideal for those travelling far or whom wish to make it a long weekend away. The event finishes on sunday evening, but again some opt to stay for an additional night and leave on the Monday. Your booking application form offers all the options so you can choose when you arrive and leave.
How to book for this event
This year we are doing away with the paper based booking forms and cheque payments, moving to a streamlined online booking system with paypal secure payment.

Once on the site, navigate to the 'Mucky Duck 2014' category on the left menu. You should now see the related products to this category. Select 'Mucky Duck 2014 Booking' , on this page you will need to enter your vehicle registration, number of adults/children attending, select any camping options, then add to your basket.
You are now able to checkout, securely pay via PayPal and your booking is complete.
Note: Please enter correct shipping details, so we have a contact address should we need it. However, we do not send our tickets for the event. You will be booked in and given your "run pack" as you arrive.

The Vale of Pickering Caravan Park is located in beautiful North Yorkshire close to the market towns of Pickering and Malton and the seaside towns of Scarborough and Whitby. We are without doubt one of the very best Caravan Parks in the area. Our 15 acre site is surrounded by beautiful countryside close to the North Yorkshire Moors and the East Coast which makes us an ideal base to explore the many attractions close by. Our spacious park has panoramic views, and is generously planted with trees, shrubs, flower beds and hanging baskets.

Vehicle Advice:
This event ranges across a variety of roads and terrain, therefore it is advised to make sure your vehicle is in good condition. Simple checks and common sense will help you be safe and enjoy the event.
- Check tyre depth, pressure and condition. Also carry a spare and relevant tools to change the wheel.
- Check lights, horn, hazards, wipers and washers.
- Check fluid levels (oil, water, screenwash)
- Check fuel level (this is important as garages are far apart on the runs)
- Carry a mobile phone and let others know where you are going if you are driving alone.
- All vehicles on this event must be road legal (Valid Tax, Insurance & MOT)

If you need a spare part while on the event or travelling to the north yorkshire region, the MiniSpares shop located in Harrogate contains over 9000 parts for your mini. Should you suffer any problems or even a break down, the shop is approx 1hr travelling distance away from the campsite. Maybe you just want to combine our event with a walk-in visit to collect parts?
