Hi,

The green tinted glass is called "Sundym" and was fitted to a clubby I had in the mid eighties.
I think the clubby was a '79 model. I also had this glass in my '79 clubby estate.

My current MkIII Mini (1972) is fitted with standard windows which are not tinted.

Hope this helps a little!!!

Cheers, Steve.

Hi,

Yes a Scott confirms, the secursiv windows with the kite mark are like mine I have on my present '72 Mini (not tinted).

I can't remeber what marking were on the Sundym tinted windows though.

As you've mentioned, the window frames don't seem to rust, my '72 is on it's original rear openers, with not one sign of corrosion. They might be stainless steel perhaps...at least on the earlier ones?

Cheers, Steve.
