i have seen these on the net and wondered if anyone had any experience with them?

i was thinking of fitting a pair to my front hydrolastic spheres on the front of my metro to allow quick and easy access for adjustments to the pressure in them.

i know with a tyre valve you can take the actual valve out, but im not sure this can be done with my spheres? i was wondering, do these extensions need the original valve removing, or do they have some kind of "pin" that pushes the valve in as you screw the extension on, making it open so only the new outer valve works???

not for years but every extension i've ever come across keeps the original valve intact.

We have them on the works minibuses. Never had a problem with them.
