im getting my mini resprayed in the near future and im beginning to look for quotes. just wondered if anyone on here did welding or resprays etc? obviously i'd pay a good price and im more than willing to help them and try and learn a thing or two.

or if i have no joy on here, does anybody know anywhere that would do an exterior respray for £1000 or under?

We use a guy called Ian Lyon over near Redditch (not too far away) he can be contacted on 0152764810 or via their website, (see my Mini on it!)
by the way as you are in Hinkley, how come you haven't joined Central Minis yet?? We meet at the Oddfellows Arms (very appropriate) in Higham on the Hill every other Sunday night. Next meeting is this weekend starting at 8pm!

Tape the England match so you can fast forward all the boring bits (which will be most of it) and come down the pub! It will save the stress of seeing them get beaten!
Next meeting will be 9th July but some of us will be at the Redditch Show in Stratford next weekend.

The whole refurb, (and there was a lot of it!) cost £2500 so I don't know how much was the painting. It depends on the condition of the bodywork, prep time, type and colour of paint etc. Ian will give you a quote!
