i've swapped out a few head units... this is what i seem to find...
yellow is normally the +12v permanent feed (always has 12v)
red is normally the switched +12v (comes on with ignition)
black is normally negative (to chassis)
then theres possibly some optional ones like:
-blue/white= power antenna
-blue= aux power (for amp)
-orange/white= dimmer (lights come on, head unit dims)
the speaker ones may vary, but they come in pairs!
easiest way is to look at the back of your speakers that are in and match the colours up!!

Okay I'll try give it ago I'll have to try wire it into a plug for the back of the radio any chance you know what holes in the plug and where to go? :)

Oh that might actually be perfect as it will help with getting the pins right as it already has some cable. Will try get that ordered soon and use the help from here to fix it. Cheersi got one of these

It's the car that didn't have one someone's cut it off for some bizzare reasonThe pins on the back of the head unit change from brand to brand... If its a new head unit, it should have come with a connector... But if you dont have one, it would be easier to buy one than to hardwire it into the car
