Hey Im from Australia and I love small cars, so therefor being one of the smallest, I absolutely love minis.
BUT I also love rotary engines.
Would it be possible to drop a rotary into a mini, then convert it to RWD? Im pretty sure I will be able to get Diffs and Xmembers fabricated or an existing diff from another model fitted. A rotary shouldnt have much trouble fitting into a mini engine bay, as they are smaller than most piston engines.
What parts would I need and what processes would need to be undertaken? A link to a website would be great.
Thanks

i have seen a mini with an rx8 rotary wankel engine. BUT! it wasn't a proper mini. it was a space frame jobbie with a mini body.
don't know about fitting. never seen a rotary engine. seem an rx8 which has one and its not exsactly a small thing. but hey i don't know anything.
also. welcome to the forums.
