That's the plan. Although I'm a bit worried that the throttle doesnt have the same degree of motion in the hs2's as opposed to the SPI manifold

Since you are still using the ECU for the ignition, hooking up the MAP sensor back to the intake manifold might improve the ignition advance.

Yeah was going to hook that up tomorrow figured it did ignition as well as mixture. Could I connect it to the little nipple on the side of the left carb or is the vacuum not strong enough?

I am not familiar with the SU carbs. I believe it needs to go directly to the manifold. The carb port might be connected before the throttle butterfly valve which normally is used for the distributor timing advance.

Ahh bugger. Got to find a way to make a port somewhere. Anyone got any ideas?

The kickdown rod is not just a kickdown - it is a governor control rod , why not try asking Burlen if they can help?

I made one up myself - but anyone doing an auto-->manual conversion will have one.
