Hi everyone, I have a noise which sounds like a worn release bearing coming from my transfer casing, but the noise works in the opposite way to a worn release bearing.

The noise stops when I press down the clutch...

Any suggestions would be very helpful! If I can prevent taking the engine out again it would be a bonus!

Cheers,
Iain

Cheers man! I did think it was the idler bearing, am hoping its the bearing on the transfer casing and not the one on the gearbox! Haha
