My mini has buckets seats in and I'm changing it back to the original. I don't have runners in the car anymore, the buckets seats are attached a different way. Is everything on the subframes of the seats I need.

The original seats, provided they have their frames attached just bolt to the front mounts on the cross member and pivot forward on that. On newer cars they lock into place on the locking ring on the floor by the handbrake lever.

I hope that is what you were asking about?

Cam.

No, there's two brackets that bolt to the four holes (captive nuts) in the front of the crossmember.

No problem :) I will say, the holes where the captive nuts are in the cross member, on my car at least, have "stretched" so the mounts flex a little. To fix it I added some big washers to spread out the load onto some "fresh" metal which seemed to make them sturdier.

Just a tip if you find your mounting holes to be the same.

No idea on the bolts, mine came with them already fitted. They are super easy to fit. Good job really as you'll often find yourself with the seats moved out/back off the mounts in order to work inside the car :D

Hi there .I'm just refitting standard seats , does anyone have a picture of the seat locking ring on the floor. I have tried minispares but apparently
they don't do them anymore.

That's strange as I was only speaking to a member of staff at minispares the other week about this.
Thanks for that .
