I have a 1981 Mini 1000 and trying to fit 3 point rear seat belts and after some advice.
I have looked at various previous threads but unfortunately still not sure.
The pillar fixing does not seem to be present on my mini, cannot feel it under the interior linning.
Looking to fix the lap section to the parcel box on the side with bolt and washer ( as the front seat belt is) the other end of the lap section can be secured to the area under the back seat similarly with bolt and washer but struggling to know the best thing to do with the pillar section?
If welding an anchor plate is required so be it but would prefer not to disturb the linning as car is very original so the less impact I can make all the better.
