Hello peeps,
If anyone's looking for something modern, stylish, and very very reliable, I'm selling my Dad's Celica - I'll copy'n'paste the description from the gumtree ad.

2005 Toyota Celica Red Premium, in stunning crystal silver.
The Red edition Celica came fitted from the factory with special 17" alloys, gorgeous red leather seats and door card inserts, a boot mounted sub-woofer, and alloy pedal covers to elevate this model above the rest. When ordered, this car was also specified with the additional Premium package, which added an intelligent climate control system and a glass tilt+slide sunroof.
Family owned since new, with 2 owners on the log book. Owned by my father for 8 years and 6 months, garaged every night during his ownership. It was then passed on to me and I have owned it for the past 6 months. The car is solid, with no rust, helped greatly by it being garaged for the majority of it's life.
MOT until June 2015, tax until December 2014.
Low mileage of currently only 44,700, but this will slowly rise as I use the car regularly.
This car is in fantastic condition for it's age; all original (bar the stereo head unit) with absolutely no mechanical or electrical faults. The 1.8 litre, 140bhp VVT-I engine and 6 speed manual gearbox still run and function perfectly. Everything still works just as well as it did the day the car rolled off the production line; the air conditioning is particularly impressive, still delivering fresh, ice cold air at a moments notice.
The two original remote key fobs are still present and functional, along with the valet key. There are many booklets/leaflets from the original sale that will be included with the car, including the original owner's manual and the original bill of sale for just shy of £18,500. We have kept every tax disc and all of the MOT certificates.
There is a sizeable amount of service history to go with the car, however it has been maintained by myself (a very competent enthusiast mechanic) for the past 3 or 4 years. It has had new pads fitted all round around two or three years ago. I last did an engine oil and filter change in February 2014, at approx. 39,700 miles, along with fitting a new set of spark plugs and adjusting the handbrake to the correct number of clicks. I also fitted new wiper blades in March, and changed the gearbox oil in April, at around 42,900 miles. You do not need to worry about a cam-belt change on these cars, as they use a timing chain instead.
The interior is in very good condition, sporting an aftermarket stereo head unit, due to the CD player in the original unit packing up. The original unit looked very dated against the very well designed, modern looking dashboard, so the replacement double-din touch screen CD/DVD Pioneer unit compliments and modernises the interior wonderfully.
The car has Pirelli P-Zero tyres fitted all round - these are the same brand and model of tyre that the car left the factory with. The matching full size spare wheel is still present and correct, with plenty of tread left on the tyre.
The original tool kit is still present, along with the wheel chock, emergency jack, and locking wheel nut key.
The paintwork is in very good condition for the age of the car, but with a few minor blemishes as described below.
Bad points - I will be as honest as possible here to list any faults with the car so you know exactly what to expect when viewing the car.
Exterior - There are a few small scuffs and scrapes to the paintwork, most prominently on the corners of the front bumper, however I have tried my best to touch up any obviously marked areas with specifically matched touch-up paint. There are also a few little stone chips and one or two very very small car park dents, but they really are hardly noticeable.
Wheels/tyres - There are various kerbing marks on the alloy wheels, as they are very easy to catch on the kerb due to the spokes sticking out past the tyre side-wall. There is no serious damage, and the wheels still look fantastic and are a real eye-catcher. The lacquer has failed on the wheel centre caps, leading to a bad paint finish on the caps. The rear tyres could also do with being replaced in the near future, as they are nearing the wear markers on the inside edges.
Interior - There is some very minor discolouration/wear developing on the lower portion of the upper right hand bolster of the driver's seat, due to the wear and tear of getting in and out of the car. There a few minor scuffs to some interior panels, but again, nothing serious.
I am very flexible on times for viewings, so please do get in touch and we can arrange something to suit your needs.
Price: £3,450 o.n.o.
