Evening people,

I did register a while ago and have been popping back in ever since. It's took me this long to source my first mini though and here she is (hope these pictures work, bit of a novice when it comes to this technology lark!!)

More images to follow if this works, if not much head scratching will be done!!

Clearly not!! >:D Let me have another go!

Well there she is!! Quite pleased with her in all fairness, she's done 43,000 and lived on the isle of man until 2000 when she came over the water and had another 2 owners before me.

Relatively tidy and completely standard. Unmolested 998cc (at the moment!!), just a few small spots of rust in the normal places, under headlamps, very minor bubbling on the scuttle panel and the drivers a paenl.

plans are as follows (not in any order):

1-Stage 1 kit.
2-Hi Los and some decent dampers.
3-Minifins at rear (Got cooper discs up front which i was well happy with)
4-Decent rubber on the four corners.
5-Interior.
6-and the list goes on!

Plans are to to go for a retro 60s racer feel. Keep the body wheel arch-less and eventually fit a Mk 1 grille (when the rust at the front needs dealing with!). Then Mk 1 rear lights and boot lid somewhere along the line. Classic buckets and a stripped out racy interior with carpeted load area where the rear seats are currently. I'm happy with the 998 at the moment and reckon the stage 1 will give me enough power to be going on with, although it's inevitable that the thirst for more power will take over eventually!!

Any comments welcome!!
