Is there a rubber alternative to the crappy plastic gutter trim?   Mine's slowing deforming and shrinking, causing it to constantly pop off and leave gaps.

Also thinking about binning it all together and just cleaning up the gutter itself.

I put insulation tape on a mate's mini in 2011, only just taken it off! I think they look much better without a trim.

How about the Chrome body and arch trim ? there are many different types available with different gripping patterns.

I think they look best naked, but I have seen black plastic, and black rubber in the past, sorry can't recommend any retail shops in UK, I am currently overseas.

Took mine off as it was holding water in the gutter and trapping rubbish in there.

Still get water trapped in the corners after washing, but it's now much easier to dry it out, also there's no nasty faded black plastic on the roof.

Was thinking about that, but wouldn't the groove be too deep?  Will have to experiment, but do think i'm just going to go with taking it off all together.

Nah you can get all different depths and malleability of the chrome trim, carbuilders solutions are a great company when it comes to parts for just about anything vehicle related!!! Give them a ring and they'll send you a free magazine thats just full of all sorts of stuff I and probably you want ;p
