Who makes the best ones? Ive seen very little pictures of them too so maybe someone could post a few. All the ones Ive seen are from haggard race cars...

Anyone have any personal experience with these arches? Seems like everyone likes the flare types instead.

your going to need really wide wheels

a mate fitted a fortech kit to his clubby estate, he needed 8x13's up front and 10x13's on the rear to fill the arches

I really like a nicely done Fortech body.  If it looks like a true GT5 racer with a low stance and very wide wheels and tires I think it can be a thing of beauty.  But if not it can look like a patched together want to be.

I make the parts in glass or carbon in the States so I don't know suppliers you have available but I wouldn't go too cheap and whatever you get, be prepared for some work.

Here's a pic of some on one of my composite body shells

As above. They can look fantastic when done correctly. I remember reading about a fortec kitted mini that was sprayed in a very dark green a few years back. Was almost black it was so dark and some crazy 1430cc beast under the bonnet. The bloke who sprayed it did it himself and made himself very ill due to inhaling the toxic fumes.

I was thinking about using the narrow ones.

Seems like the rear wheel arch is a bit hard to fit but looks good. Anyone know what size wheels Id need for the narrows? Probably 13x7 or 13x8.

Looks kinda Rauh Welt, which I really, really like!

Have to be very careful, a lad over my way suffered serious health issues resulting in death from painting excessive amounts of 2k with his shirt pulled user his nose rather than a suitable air fed mask.

Those are the original, 1st gen Fortech arches and don't need quite as much rubber to fill the opening.  Looks great I'd say go for it, there is a guy nearby with ZCars kit running these arches and it really gives it a nice retro race look.
