Hi,
im just posting for some advise to see if any one knows of any recommended insurance company's for the newer drivers.
im 17 and been passed 7 months but am currently paying quite alot for insurance.

Try flux direct I just got a quote with them for my 91 mayfair 998cc with plenty of mods for £1025 full comp :)

Adrian Flux is likely to be your cheapest, they are mine. All very well until you need to claim though as I've heard they can be quite difficult, but then all car insurance is a con so it doesn't matter to me one bit.
