We are now up to date! The current job is the engine. her original a series is on well over 100K and runs very nicely but is leaking oil in the words of the last mot tester "like a sieve" and hes right it is! its so bad I have to top it up neatly every time I drive it It also blue smokes very badly so its time for a rebuild. I have another a+ engine from a very kind member on here which I will drop in whilst the original is rebuilt.
Here is the A+ being picked up:
I am changing a few gaskets, the clutch and the final drive (to 3.1) before it goes in as well as painting and generally making it pretty!
More to follow!

Thought it about time for an update! Nothings really happened over the last year. Shes been running and driving very well. Even the engine swap was put on hold as I kept being given old engine oil to put through her old smokey leaky engine! With the MOT looming however I think shes earned some presents!
Starting with swapping the rear right hand radius arm:
Over the next month she will be having:
Radius arm swap
Rear brake overhaul and different wheel cylinders
Full cooper S brake install (currently still on drums)
Engine swap.
Mechanically then she should be 100% ![]()
