Hope someone can help with a wee problem I have. I have rust along the bottom edge of my boot and wanting to carry out a repair BUT how to go about it?

My first option was to order a skin and reskin it but not available or not that I can find??

Second is to order the Mk3 skin and crop the outer corners where the hinges are as that's the worst corrosion. Apart from the center section where the bottom light goes will it be possible to use sections from the Mk3 skin?

Ideally buying a new boot but at £300 it's a bit much.

Any ideas would be great

Its basically flat along the bottom so I would make my own repair panel from plate.
