Throttle Return Spring

Hi

 

Can someone kindly show me where the Throttle Return Spring connects to, the other end is on the Anchor tag on the carburettor.

 

I cannot find its location in any manual.

the other end hooks on to a bracket on the exhaust manifold clamp. I always find it easier to fit to the exh/man clamp first and use a loop of cord to pull upward to insert into the tag on the carberettor remove the air filter first and beware springs bite. hope i'm not teaching how to suck eggs!

Generally it attaches to the carb abutment plate. Do you know what carb you have fitted, or better yet a photo of yours or a similar one.

Agreed a bracket on exhaust clamp.
