As the topic says, ive sourced a reasonable ex Metro A+ engine but its on an auto transmission.... i want to put my manual box onto it.
Is it fairly straight forward or is there a lot different?
I guess im only really worried about the flywheel swap, the drop gear fitting onto the crankshaft and the dowel holes in the gearbox flange to block.
The engine thats there at the moment is a 998, so will the 998 flywheel fit onto a 1275 metro crankshaft?
Any advice is welcomed, as id like to get any bits i need before i start the job.
