Hi

I'm Ville from Finland. Sorry about my language skills...

I have a Mini 850 -69, wich is modded to 1275 with discbrakes etc. My problem is broken motor and gearbox. I have tried to look for a new gearbox over year, and have founded nothing...

So, then I remember I have very good Opel/Vauxhall 1.3 OHC with Irmcher fuel injection and F10-5 gearbox. I have been thinking to put those in my mini. So, does anyone have any information about that conversion? I remember that I have seen at least Opel C20XE:s (DOCH) in mini and kits to do that conversion.

So if anyone have any information about that, I would be verry happy

i dont know if its the same engine but it might give you some ideas

Minis84 is using the 1.6 I believe. I don't think the engine mounts are the same on the 1.3 and the 1.6, but if they aren't, it should be quite a simple job to change the engine mounts on the Allspeed kit.

It is the same block. What is this Allspeed kit?
