Dear All,

I have just welded over the two rear 'rain' plugs and finished the metalwork (currently bare) ready for undersealing.

my question is that I'm aware of paint products that chemically react with the bare metal (eg. hammerite)

so do I leave the metal bare and coat with a suitable underseal product

OR

first use a rust inhibitor that contains zinc, and then brush over a nice thick coat of underseal.

I have no idea if a two or three product process will work, will react well with each other or not react at all.?

your advice as always, is greatly appreciated,

stephen
