hi i got a 1293 mini engine

 

i had rolling road the bloke modified my distribiter sorry about the spelling im ginger lol

 

every time i put my foot down it holds bck then go like a rocket

 

 

when i turn the mini of it sounds like timing aint rite

 

would i need to put a performance distribiter on it because it got a differant cam and bigger pistons

Can we have some more details like Cam ? Compresion? Carb? Cylinder Head? usually if you make changes then yes a standard advance curve wont be right and something like a Aldom Yellow with Vacuum advance. Could be a jetting issue ?
