Due to the buyer having a change of heart about their project direction this is back up for sale.

I bought this off Brett over on TM but the impending arrival of twins has resulted in some changed priorities! Shame really as I was sooo looking forward to using it!

In this pretty much bolt on setup is:-

Metro Turbo exhaust manifold modified to suit the GT20, the ports have been opened out to the manifold gasket, the dividers have been cut back and the manifold has been very well ported, it comes fully assembled with the turbo on it using a T3-T2 adapter plate which Brett has blended to match both the turbo and manifold. The downpipe was made by Brett and was the 3rd version (the turbo to downpipe flange is also a Paul S item), it can be fitted/removed with the engine in place and puts the exhaust in about the same place as a normal 2" system, it starts at 63mm and works its way down to 51mm and will mate via a slip joint to a standard 2 inch system complete with wideband boss..

Genuine Garrett GT2056 turbo bought from cossierick in the TurboMinis group buy (the turbo has less than 2000 miles on it). Actuator has been relocated and the housing clocked to suit mini installation, the wastegate port has also been opened up as Brett had issues with boost creep at high rpm (porting the wastegate resolved this for a few people)

Also included is the braided oil feed (these are genuine aeroquip fittings and cost in excess of £80!) and turbo to block oil drain return (I have a new length of oil hose for this drain too).

I haven't taken any current pictures yet as it's wrapped up in a box under my workbench but have put some pictures up from Brett's old for sale thread and build thread. Everything looks the same (except a bit dirtier! lol)

You will need a bulkhead box for this installation (unless you are putting it in a Metro)

I paid £525 for this setup so would like to see £500 in return.

I will split the items as follows but must have buyers for everthing before I do.

Manifold, DP & Drain £180

Turbo £280

Braided Oil Feed £40

Can deliver to MITP.

Tempting! (but cant say much for the welding....!)

Not sure if you'd be interested in PX for a Dellorto DHLA 45 + induction manifold...?

Whilst the downpipe welding may not be pretty I can assure you it doesn't leak and the set-up performed great on Brett's car.

Not interested in a PX unfortunately though I am downsizing :)

Fair enough!
I'm looking at either turbo-ing or supercharging, not decided yet...

Much more potential with turbo in my opinion.

More power is possible (I've yet to see a 5 port a-series make "really" good power on a supercharger)

You can retain your fuel economy (i got over 35mpg on my IMM run with my current turbo'd car where as you would be lucky to see 20mpg with a charger)

All the mini kits for supercharging off the shelf are suck through (and some of them pretty dire in my opinion) meaning no intercooler which is pretty much free power.

Apologies. This has sold on another forum. I'll report it as sold.
