Does look like good fun. Mines nearly done. Another couple of weeks, and she'll be rolling......

Awesome, I bet you can't wait. Do you have a build thread I can check out?

It made 133hp and 110ftlb  on the engine dyno and 92.2hp on the rolling road.

Yep, good old Aussie roads, pretty terrible unless you live in Tasmania :-)

Hi James,

It is a bit of a bitsa...

MKII S block and head

MKI S rods and crank

Russell Engineering Weber Manifold

45 DCOE Weber

RE 286i cam

1.5 Roller tip rockers

72.5mm RE pistons

Lightened flywheel

Maniflow extractors

SCCR gearbox with SC drop gears, Quaiffe ATB diff, 3.7 ratio

Everything has been lightened / balanced and the head has had some pretty decent porting and huge valves.

There's a heap of other parts to list, but they are all pretty much the standard stuff for a fast road 1275 :-)

It's just a 2in straight through with a custom stainless muffler. Doesn't really do much, it's just there for decoration :-)

Sounds bloody amazing! I was going to say it seems to rev out nicely, then again with 133hp I'm not surprised!
