Just putting it out there... Thinking of selling my Mini if I get the right money for it. I built this car from a bare shell...
Its a 90's shell which was built to 1972 spec, as in engine, looks, wiring, glass, , plates and body plates are from same car, tax exempt. Tubbed arches so that the car can sit lower... Also has late MPI doors with crash bars.
Powdercoated subframes in body colour. Fully Polybushed, with the Minitastic Fast Road Spring Conversion.
Brake lines and fuel lines through the car.
1293cc engine, covered approx. 1500 miles since completion. Morspeed Stage 3 Head, KAD K100 cam shaft, Cooper S Close ratio gearbox with 3.1 Final drive. Full Stainless steel centre exit exhaust system, Single HIF 44 Carb, fully worked by rolling road.
Interior has classic Cobra seats in front with matching rears in vinyl. With the centre binnacle and with Magnolia Gauges. Italian Job style roll bar, complete with proper fitment of 3 point Cobra harness', in green to match the car.
Exterior has MK1 grille.... mk1 bonnet. New windscreen, sticker number plates in black and silver.
This car is truly stunning throughout. No expense spared, its cost an absolute bomb to do up... but now for the bad bit..
The car this weekend has completed a 300 mile round trip, and has decided to have a very slight bottom end knock at very low revs... Ive had enough of working on this car... and I know it wouldn't cost much to fix which is why ive decided to stop spending money on it now...
